Click on the map below to visit East Africa. Can you find Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania on the map? Can you remember another folktale we've read that comes from Africa? Science / Art: We'll talk through the Castle Tower rubric and I'll show you how to make your roof! Click here to have a look at the rubric.

Today we started to read Axel Scheffler’s book on the coronavirus. We focused on questions like, “What is the coronavirus?”, “How do you catch the coronavirus?” and “What can I do to help myself and others?” There’s no need to be frightened or confused during this current extraordinary situation. Instead, let’s talk about it! And perhaps, more importantly, let’s inform ourselves using good and reliable information like this book! After we finished reading through the first few pages of the book, we talked about one of the easiest things we can do to help ourselves and others during this time: wearing a mask in public spaces! Check us out designing our own medical masks! The students also came up with messages to put on their masks.
